  Excellent hotel with great spa/pool area. There are a few kinks that can be fixed (like not having to walk through the spa reception to get to the pool!) Overall though this is a great hotel at a decent location and would recommend it to anyone.

  Had a afternoon tea/ beauty treatment/ use of spa day. Very good value and was impressed with how the hotel now looks. Staff friendly and helpful, treatment wonderful and afternoon tea was delicious and generous portion, we had such time having the tea that we gave the pool/Jacuzzi/sauna a miss- pool looked lovely and light

  Absolutely horrendous service mainly because there's an element of ableism. It's very 'anti disabled' as I witnessed today. A disabled customer walked in with his care giver/provider and was unwelcome from the start! The gentleman had an obvious verbal/cognitive disability that was very clear.
  His care giver gave him a coffee and then he asked for a muffin. Seeing that there were no muffins, his care giver asked the waitress who pointed to some pastries. She got up to serve him some and before she knew it the 'lady' from reception grabbed it out of her hand demanding payment (where do you think you're going? You have to pay!). Mind you there was no one at the till taking payment. However, the care giver did not provide the disabled gentlemen with food that she wasn't ready to pay for. This was proven to be true when she VERY graciously paid for the food without fuss after such a RUDE encounter.
  
  Point blank, that place needs to improve its customer service or just clearly state 'disabled people not allowed'

  Overall, a good stay. Although the double bed was 2 singles pushed together, with one completely worn out mattress, we had a decent couple of nights sleep. Evening meal was ok but the prawn cocktail was very poor with only about 10 prawns in a very watery sauce and a couple of thin slices of bread from a previous sliced loaf. The only other complaint about the food would be that it wasn't served on a plate and I hate eating off wooden boards. Breakfast was excellent though. The highlight for us was the spa area. A beautiful pool with a huge hot tub and plenty of seats and loungers to chill out on.
  We will return as long as we can get a similarly priced deal.
